AN ORDINANCE affirming the Hearing Examiner's recommendation
to rezone property at 819 North 20th Avenue, and
amending the zoning map of the City of Yakima.
WHEREAS, on December 3, 1986, the Hearing Examiner held a
hearing on the application of Marie Mitchell Boose, for the
411 rezone of property at 819 North 20th Avenue, Yakima,
Washington, the legal description of which is set out
hereinbelow, from R-3, Multi-Family Residential District, to
Central Business District Support, and
WHEREAS, as a result of that hearing, the Hearing Exa-
miner recommended to the City Council that the rezone be
granted, and
WHEREAS, at its public meeting on January 20, 1987, the
City Council determined that the decision of the Hearing Exa-
miner should be affirmed, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. The decision of the Hearing Examiner, recom-
mending the rezone of property at 819 North 20th Avenue, in
the City of Yakima, Washington, the legal description of which
is as follows:
The North 60 feet of Lot 13, Luke Powell. Sub-
division, in the City of Yakima, County of
Yakima, Washington.
from R-3, Multi-Family Residential District to Central Busi-
ness District Support, is hereby affirmed; and that property
is hereby rezoned to Central Business District Support.
Section 2. The City of Yakima zoning map is hereby
amended to correspond to the rezone ordained by Section 1 of
this ordinance.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and di-
rected to file with the Yakima County Auditor a certified copy
of this ordinance.

Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and ef-
fect thirty days after its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law and by the City Charter.
