ORDINANCE NO. B-2142
AN ORDINANCE amending Section 2 of Ordinance No. B-2070, entitled:"An
Ordinance creating a special fund to be known as the
"Shop Fund" and providing for special expenditures there
from; abolishing the Gas and Oil Fund and providing for
the transfer of the remaining balance in said fund to the
Shop Fund; repealing Ordinance No. B-636 and Resolution
No. C-1103", and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED 13Y THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. B-2070 be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 2 (a). That each department of the City of Yak-
ima which hereafter receives repair service for its vehicles at the City
Garage shall be charged therefor on the basis of the cost of the labor
for said repairs plus the cost of the parts and materials used there
for plus an additional 10% of the cost of the parts and materials used
for such repairs; provided, however, that such additional percentage
applicable to gas and to oil used in City vehicles shall be 15%.
"(b) That ever three months, to-wit, on March 31, June
30, September 30, and December 31, of each year, the City Treasurer is
hereby authorized and directed to transfer all amounts in the Shop
Fund in excess of $2,000.00 to the Street Fund."
Section 2. This ordinance is one to provide for the imme-
diate preservation of the public peace, health, property, and safety
of the people of the City of Yakima; and an emergency is hereby declar-
to exist; and said ordinance shall be in fullforce and effect immediat-
ely upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and
the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COWISSION, signed and approved this 5th
day of March, 1958.

been published as required by law.
