B-2296 AN ORDINANCE providing for the mutual exchange of equipment between the Airport Department and the Wqter Department and declaring an emergency. WHEREAS, the following equipment shown at cost thereof is pres- ently owned by the Airport Department of the City of Yakima, to-wit: 1053.7 Lineal Feet CT-1 x 31 6" high steel fence, round posts, 2" mesh, #9 gage wire $1,900.00 WHEREAS, said equipment is needed by the Water Department to fence the facilities at the Sefaage Treatment Plant. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Yakima deems it in the best interests of the City to transfer said equipment between the Aiport Department and the Water Department, and WHEREAS, the Water Department has pipe on hand and it being in the best interests of the City to pipe the irrigation ditches presently located on Airport property, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. That the following equipment, to-wit: 1053.7 Lineal feet CT-1 x 3' 6" high steel fence, round posts, 2" mesh, #9 gage wire is hereby transferred from the Airport Department to the Water Department for their use, and Section 2. That the Water Department furnish pipe and labor to the Airport Department in the sum of $1,900.00 in exchange for the fencing material. Section 3. This ordinance is for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health and safety of the people of the City of Yakima, and an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordin- ance shall take effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publi- cation as provided by law and the City Charter.
