ORDINANCE NO. B-2292
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $200.00 from the unappropriated funds of the
Airport Fund for the purchase of a used automobile and creat-
ing an emergency;.
WHEREAS, there is available for purchase by the Airport Fund
a used automobile presently owner by another department of the City, and,
WHEREAS, it could not be reasonably foreseen at the time of
the adoption of the 1959 Budget that this automobile would be needed or
would be available for purchase, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it in the best interest
of the City to make the aforementioned appropriation and that the action
contemplated herein is authorited by R.C.W..35.33.090, now, therefore,
BE IT 'ORDAINED BY THE CITY .COMMISSION OF THE CITY OFYAKIMA:
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $200.00
from the unappropriated funds of the Municipal Aurport.Fund to be added to
the 1959 Budget appropriation for the Airport Fund, Capital or Betterment
Classification, Account 6-41, Automotive Equipment for the purchase of one
used automobile from another department of the City.
Section 2. That the Cheif City Accountant and the City Trea-
surer are hereby authorited and directed to make the aforementioned appro-
priation.
S4ction 3. This Ordinance is for the immediate preservation
of the public peace, property, health and safety of the people of the City
of Yakima, and an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance
shall take effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as
provided by law and the City Charter;
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSIONii signed and approved this 13th
