ORDINANCE NO. B-2290 nr:
AN ORDINANCE transferring equipment from the Street Department to the
Water Department and transferring funds from the Water Depart-
ment Budget to the Street Fund.
WHEREAS, the following listed equipment with assigned numbers
and book values thereof is presently assigned to the Street Department of
the City of Yakima, to-wit:
S-66 Sewer Rodder $4,500.00
S-1 Ford Sedan 820.00
S-7 Pickup Truck 250.00
S-10 Flusher 500.00
$6,070.00
Total
and,
WHEREAS, said equipment is now being used by the Water
Department of the City of Yakima and the functions performed with said
equipment are being performed by the Water ,Department, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Yakima deems it
in the best interests of the City to transfer said equipment from the
Street Department to the Water Department, and to compensate the Street
fund by transferring thereto from the funds appropriated to the Water
Department in the 1959 Budget the book value of said equipment, to-wit:
the sum of 0,070.00, and
WHEREAS, the action contemplated is authorized by R.C.W. 35-
33.120, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That the following equipment, to-wit:
S-66 Sewer Rodder
S-1 Ford Sedan
S-7 Pickup Truck
S-10 Flusher
is hereby transferred from the Street Department to the Water Department.
Section 2. That the sum of $4,500.00, the same being the
book value of s-66, the Sewer Rodder, is hereby transferred from the
Water-Sewer Machines and Equipment Item of the Capital Betterment Accounts
Classification of the 1959 Budget of the Wqter Department to the Street
Fund.
Section 3. That the sum of 41,570.00, the same being the
book value of S-1, the Ford Sedan; S-7, the pickup truck; and S-10, the
Flusher, is hereby transferred from the Automotive Equipment Item of the
Capital Betterment Account Classification of the 1959 Budget for the
Water Department to the Street Fund.
Section 4. The Chief City Accountant is hereby authorized
and directed to make the aforementioned transfers'
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
30 days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and
the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 6th
day of May, 1959.
