B-2275 ;1;?0 AN ORDINANCE discontinuing the special fund known as the "Working Fund" and providing for the. transfer of the unexpended balance, less outstanding warrants, to the "Irrigation Fund"; and repealing Ordinances B-2229 and B-2246 and declaring an emergency. WHEREAS, there has been a fund known as the "Working Fund created by Ordinances B-2229 and B-2246, and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the "Working Fund" is a revolving fund and therefore contrary to State Law, now, therefore,' BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. That the. "Working Fund", be and the same hereby, is discontinued, and the unexpended. balance therein of $18.00, less out standing warrants, be and the same heEby is, transferred to the "Irri- gation Fund", and the Chief City Accountant and the City Treasurer be and they are hereby authorized and directed to make said transfer of funds. Section 2. That Ordinances Nos. B-2229 and B-2246 be and are hereby cancelled and repealed. Section 3. This ordinance is one to provide for the imme- diate preservation of the public peace, health, property and safety of the people of the City of Yakima; and an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall.be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and the City Charter.'
