AN ORDINANCE discontinuing the special fund known as the "shop Fund" and •
providing for the transfer of the unexpended balance, less
outstanding warrants, to the "Street Fund"; and repealing
Ordinances, B-2070, B-2142 and declaring an emergency.
WHEREAS, there has been a fund known as,the "Shop Fund" in
connection with the City gargge, and
WHEREAS, the City Garage has become an integral part of the
Street Department, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That the Shop Fund". be andthe same herebyAs,
discontinued, and the unexpended balance therein, less outstanding .
warrants, be and the same hereby is, transferred to the Street Fund,
and the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to make said
transfer of funds.
Section 2. That Ordinances numberedB-2070 and B-2142 be
and the same hereby are canceled and repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance is one to provide for the im-
mediate perservation of the Public peace, heith, property and safety
of the people of the City of Yakima; and an emergency is hereby de-
clared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage] approval andpublication as provided by
law and the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 13
day of February, 1959.
