ORDINANCE NO. B-2248 P-11
AN ORDINANCE changing the names of certain streets in the City of Yakima
as follows: The Name "Gordon Road" from North First Street
Westerly for a distance of six hundred (660) feet, to "Tam-
arack Avenue"; and designating an unnamed street in the Plat
"Central Addition to North Yakima", as "Gordon Road".
WHEREAS confusion has arisen over the names of various
streets in the City of Yakima, described in the caption hereof, and it is
in the best interests of the City of Yakima to c laify the street designa-
tions by naming and re-naming portionsof said streets, now, therefore,
. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:.
Section 1. That the portion of.street commencing at North.
First Street and running west a distance of six hundred (600) feet, now
known as "GORDON ROAD", be and the same is hereby, officially designated ,
and re-named "TAMARACK AVENUE",
• Section 2. That the unnamed street constituting the Wdster-
ly noundary of the official plat known as "Central Addition to North Yak-
ima", be and the same is hereby officially designated and named "GPRDON
ROAD".
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30)
days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and
the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY WMMISSION, signed and approved this 4th fl,
day of February, 1959.

(600) feet, to QTamarack 'Avenue"; and designating an unnamed street in
the Plat "Central Addition to North Yakima", as "Gordon Road". as passed
on the 4th day of February, 1959, and that the same has been published
as required by law.
