B-2238 Pal AN ORDINANCE amending Section (e) of Section 88 of Ordinance No. B-1526 entitled "AN ORDINANCE relating to and regulating traffic, travel and transportation and their incidents upon the streets and other ways open to the public; prescribing the powers and duties of officers and others in relation there- to; defining offenses; providing penalties, and repealing Ordinance No. B-131 and all other amendments therefore and all other ordinances in so far as they are in conflict therewith, and declaring an emergency", as amended by Ord- inance No. B-1546. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. Section (e) of Section 8 of Ordinance No. B-1526 as amended by ordinance No. B-1546 is hereby amended to read as follows: "(e) Two Hour Parallel Parking: The operator of a vehicle shall not stop or parallel park such vehicle for a longer continuous time than two hours between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M., of any day except Sundays and holidays, upon the following described Portions of the following named streets and avenues in the City of Yakima: The West side of South Naches Avenue from Yakima Avenue to Chestnut Street. Both sides of the 500 block on East Chestnut Street; namely, between Naches Avenue and 6th Street. North side only of West Yakima Avenue from 7th Avenue to 8t4f Avenue. Both sides of North 8th avenue from Yakima Avenue to Summitview Avenue." Section 2. This ofdinance shall be and is hereby declared to be in full force and effect thirty (30) days from and after its final passage, approval and publication, as provided by law and the City Charter PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 7th day of January, 1959.
