AN ORDINANCE zoning certain property situate in the City of Yakima,
County of Yakima, Washington.
WHEREAS, the property described hereinbelow is being annexed
by the City of Yakima simultaneously with the passage of the within Ordin-
ance, and
WHEREAS, it appearing that the City Planning ( aommission has
duly considered and recommended the zoning of said property as set forth
below, and there having been conducted a public hearing thereon; and it
appearing to be in the best interests of the City of Yakima to zone said
premises as recommended by the Planning 6 ommission,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That the following described property situate
in the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, Washington, to -wit:
Beginning at a point on the north line of Section 13,
Township 13 North, Range 18, E.W.M., 120 feet West of
the center line of North First Street; thence south
653 feet along the west line of Lots 2 and 13, Block 1;
and Lots 2 and 13, Block 4, Central Addition, to the
center line of Oak Avenue; thence west 555 feet along
said line to a point 25 feet west of Lot 8, Block 3,
Central Addition; thence north 653 feet to the north
line of Section 13, Township 13 North, Range 18, E.W.M.,
thence east 555 feet along said line to the point of beginning
be and the same is hereby zoned to be included in Multiple Family Zone,
R -3 Zone.
Section 2. That the following described property situate in
the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, Washington, to -wit:
Beginning at a point on the north line of Section 13,
Township 13 North, Range 18, E.W.M., 675 feet west of
the center line of North First Street; thence south
653 feet to the center line of Oak Avenue; thence East
330 feet along said line to the center line of North
Front Street; thence south 490 feet along said line
and extension of said line; thence east 330 feet more
or less to the center line of North First Street; thence
south 175 feet to the south line of the north half of the
Northeast quarter of Section 13, Township 13 North, Range
18, E.W.M., thence west along said line to the east right -
of -way line of the Northern Pacific Railroad Company;
thence northwesterly along said right -of -way to the north
line of Section 13, Township 13 North, Range 18, E.W.M.,
thence east along said line to the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby zoned to be included in Light Industrial Zone.
Section 3. That the following described property situate
in the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, Washington, to -wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the north line of Section
13, Township 13 N Range 18, E,W,M„ and the east right
of -way line of North First Street, thence south 330 feet
along said right of way line to a point 25 feet north of
Lot 14, Phillips Suburban Tracts; thence east 128 feet;
thence south parallel with North First Street to the center
line of "N" Street t ence west 168 feet along said line to
the center line of North First Street; thence south 150
feet along said line to a point 175 feet north of the south
line of the north half of the Northeast quarter of Section
13, Township 13, North, Range 18, E.W.M., thence west 330
feet to the extension of the center line of North Front
Street; thence north 490 feet along said extension to the
center line of Oak Avenue; thence east 225 feet along said
line; thence north 653 feet parallel with North First Street
to the north line of Section 13, Township 13 North, Range
18, E.W.M., thence east along said line to the point of be-
ginning,

be and the same is hereby zoned to be included in the General Business
Zone, B-3.
Section 4. The above zoning designations hall be included
and depicted on the next regularly amended use district map of the City
of Yakima.
Section 5. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to file with the Yakima "-ounty Auditor a certified copy of this Ordinance.
11 Section 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
thirty days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law
and the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 18
day of June, 1958.
