AN ORDINANCE zoning certain property situate in the City of Yakima,
County of Yakima, Washington, and declaring an emergency.
WHEREAS, the property described hereinbelow is being
annexed by the City of Yakima simutaneously with the passage of the
within ordinance, and
WHEREAS, it appearing that the City Planning Commission
has duly considered and recommended the zoning of said property as
set forth below, and therehaving been conducted a public hearing
thereon; and it appearing to be in the best interests of the City of
Yakima to zone said premises as recommended by the Planning Commiss-
ion,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That the following described property situ-
ate in the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, Washington, to-wit:
Beginning at a point on the-North line of Section 13,
Township 13 North, Range 18, E.W.M., 120 feet West of the
center line of North First Street, thence South 653 feet
along the West line of Lots 2 and 12, Block 1, and Lots 2
and 13, Block 4, Central Addition to the center line of
Oak Avenue; thence West 555 feet along said line to a
point 25 feet west of Lot 8, Block 3, Central Addition;
thence North 653 feet to the North line of Section 13,
Township 13 North, Range 18, EW.M.; thence East 555 feet
along said line to the point of beginning.

R-3 Zone.

Section 2. That the following described property situate
in the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, Washington, to-wit:
Beginning at a point on the North line of Section 13,
Town Township 13 North, Range 18, E.W.M., 675 feet west of the
center line of North First Street; thence outh 653 feet
to the center line of Oak Avenue; thence east 330 feet
along said line to the center line of North Front Street;
thence South 490 feet along said line and extension of
said line; thence east 330 feet more or less to the cen-
ter line of North First Street; thence south 175 feet to
the south line of the North one half of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 13, Township 13, North, Range 18,
E.W.M.; thence east along said line to the east right-of
way line of the Northern Pacific Railroad Company; thence
northwesterly along said right-of-way line to the north
line of Section 13, t ownship 13 North, Range 18, E.W.M.;
thence east along said line to the point of beginning.

SECTION 3. That the following described property situate
in the City of Yakima, L'ounty of Yakima, Washington, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the north line of Section
13, Township 13 North,, Range 18 E.W.M. and the east right-
of-way line of north i'irst Street, thence south 330 feet
along said right-of-way line to a point 25 feet north of
Lot 14, Phillips Suburban Tracts; thence east 128 feet;
thence south parallel with North First Street to the cen-
ter line of "N" Street; thence West 168 feet along said
line to the center line of North First Street; thence
south along 150 feet more or less along said line; thence
West 330 feet to the extension of North Front Street; thence

North 490 feet along said extension to the center line of Oak Avenue;
thence east 225 feet along said line; thence north 653 feet parallel
with North first street to the North line of Section 13, Township 13
North, Range 18 E.W.M.; thence east along said line to the point of be-
ginning.
Section 4. The above zoning designations hall be included
and dipicted on the next regularly amended use district map of the City
of Yakima.
Section 5. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to file with the Yakima County Auditor a certified copy of this Ordinance.
Section 6. This Ordinance is one to provide for the immedia-
te preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the people of
the City of Yakima and an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and said
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its passage, approval and pyblication as provided by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 28
day of May, 1958.
