This issue is in response to recent citizen concerns about traffic congestion caused by parking on both sides of 11th Avenue near Providence Medical Center. Staff recommends the restriction of parking on the east side of 11th Avenue between Yakima Avenue and Walnut Street. This will create a more adequate travel way for motorists and emergency vehicles and still maintain one side of the street for the parking convenience of area residents.
