AN ORDINANCE relating to traffic control; regulating hours of
operation of electric railways on city streets;
and amending Section 9.55.080 of the City of
Yakima Municipal Code.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. Section 9.55.080 of the City of Yakima
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"9.55.080 Trains and equipment of electric railway systems
-- Restrictions on hours of operation. It is unlawful to
operate any trains, trolleys, or other on-track equipment of
electric railway systems in the area west of 6th Avenue and east
of 40th Avenue, and north of Pine Street and south of Fruitvale
Boulevard, on Monday through Friday of any week during the fol-
lowing hours:
Hours Prohibited:
1:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M.
11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
4:30 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect thirty days after its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law and by the City Charter.
