HomeMy WebLinkAbout2003-061 Appropriation - Yakima Convention Center Expansion (parking) ORDINANCE NO. 2003- 61 AN ORDINANCE amending the 2003 budget for the City of Yakima, and making an appropnatlon of $154,000 m the 370 - Convention Center Capital Fund for expenditure durmg 2003 to purchase property to construct a parking lot. WHEREAS, the amount of $154,000 must be appropnated within the 370 - Convention Center Capital Fund for expenditure durmg 2003 to purchase property to construct a parking lot, and WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 2003 budget it could not reasonably have been foreseen that the appropnatlon provided for by this ordmance would be required, and the City Council finds that an emergency exists of the type contemplated by RCW 35.33 091 and that it is m the best mterests of the City to make the appropnation herem provided, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. The amount of $154,000 is hereby appropnated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance m the 370 - Convention Center Capital Fund to account number 370 - 370 - 328 - 0000 -594 75 -610 as a 2003 appropriation. Section 2.
