AN ORDINANCE relating to City government personnel; defining
"time worked" for determining overtime pay; and
adding Sub Section 2.40.100F as a new section of
the City of Yakima Municipal Code.
41011 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. Sub Section 2.40.100F is hereby enacted as
a new sub section of the City of Yakima Municipal Code to read
as follows:
"2.40.100 Overtime Pay
F. Vacation leave, sick leave and compensatory -
time used (and holidays as provided in Sub Section
2.40.080E) shall be included as 'time worked' at
straight time for the purpose of determining whether
an employee has worked forty hours in a week. Civil
4111 leave, military leave and leave without pay shall not
be included as 'tine worked'."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect thirty days after its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law and by the City Charter.
