ORDINANCE NO. 57
AN ORDINANCE relating to private fire alarm systems;
increasing transmitter equipment fees; and
amending Section 10.03.100 of the City of
Yakima Municipal Code.
BE IT ORDAIUED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. Section 10.03.100 of the City of Yakima
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"10.03.100 Transmitter Equipment -- Fee. A fee
of fifteen dollars per month for each signal code
transmitter device connected to the telephone system,
and fifteen dollars per month for each device connected
41110-- to the municipal alarm circuit shall be paid to the
City of Yakima by the owner or operator of each private
fire alarm system connected to alarm receiving
equipment in the City fire alarm center, which fee
shall be paid at such time and in such accumulative
amounts as may be billed from time to time by the
City."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect thirty days after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, signed and approved this

As you can see, fees range from a low of $13.75 per month to
