AN ORDINANCE. amending the 1993 budget for the City of Yakima, and
making an appropriation of S15,000 00 in the Trolley
(Yakima Interurban Lines) Fund for expenditure during
1993 for confirming the City's property rights.
WHEREAS, the amount of S15,000.00 must be appropriated within the
Trolley (Yakima Interurban Lines) Fund in order to provide funding
confirming the City's property rights, and
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1993 budget, it could not
reasonably have been foreseen that the appropriation provided for by this
ordinance u ould be required, and the City Council finds that an emergency
exists of the type contemplated by RCW 35 33 091 and that it is in the best
interests of the City to make the appropriation herein provided, now,
therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
• Section 1 The amount of 515,000 00 is hereby appropriated from the
Unappropriated Fund Balance in the Trolley (Yakima Interurban Lines) Fund
to account number 162 -4- 162 - 326- 0000 -575 90 -410 as a 1993 appropriation.
Section 2 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect 30 days after
its passage, approval, and publication as provided by lays and by the City
Charter
