• AN ORDINANCE amending the 1995 budget for the City of Yakima, making an
appropriation of $25,000 in the 146 - Irrigation Fund for expenditure
during 1995 for payment of overtime, operating supplies, repair and
maintenance by contractors and professional services.
WHEREAS, the 146 - Imgation Fund contains an unappropriated fund balance available
for appropriation as provided by this ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the amount of $25,000 must be appropriated within the 146- Imgation Fund
in order to provide funding for payment of overtime, operating supplies, repair and maintenance
contractors and professional services, and
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1995 budget it could not reasonably have
been foreseen that the appropriation provided for herein would be required, and the City Council
finds that an emergency exists of the type contemplated by RCW 35.33 091 and that it is in the
best interests of the City to make the appropriations herein provided, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section L The amount of $25,000 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund
Balance in the 146- Imgation Fund to account numbers.

146 146 342 0000.538 00.312 - $2,400
146 146.342.0000.538 00 480 - $8,100
146 146 342.W002.538.38 410 - $6,500
as a 1995 appropnation.
Section 2. This ordinance is one making an appropriation and shall take effect
immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and by the City
Charter
