ORDINANCE NO. o2'/74 ,, • 4Ik • AN ORDINANCE relating to traffic control; adopting certain rules of ,the road and providing for their enforcement; amending Sections 9.50.040, 9.60.020 and 9.60.040 and repealing Sections 9.60.010, 9.60.050, 9.60.060, 9.60.070 and 9.60.080, all of the City of Yakima Muni- cipal Code; and declaring an emergency. — ....., . WHEREAS; the City Council finds and declares an emergency to exist so as to authorize this ordinance effective as of January 1, 1981, in order to comply with state statutes, and with court rules and regulations implementing those state statutes and adopted during the current calendar month, all of which are effective on January 1, 1981, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: 4111 , Section 1. Section 9.50.040 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code is hereby.amended to read as follows: "9.50.040 Statutes adopted. The following statutes • are adopted by reference: R.C.W. 46.61.020 Refusal to give information to or . cooperate . with_idfficer, • R.C.W. 46.61.021 Duty to obey law enforcement officer-- Authority of officer. R.C.W. 46.61.022 Failure to obey officers--Penalty. R.C.W. 46.61.025 Persons riding animals or driving animal-drawn vehicles." Section 2. Section 9.60.020 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: III "9.60.020 Statutes adopted. The following statutes are adopted by reference: . . • . R.C.W. 46.64.020 Non appearance after written promise, Misdemeanor. R.C.W. 46.64.048 Attempting, Aiding, Abetting, Coercing, Committing Violations Punishable." Section 3. Section 9.60.040 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "9.60.040 Notice on illegally parked vehicles. If any motor vehicle without a driver is found parked, angle-parked, standing, or stopped in violation of any of the restrictions imposed by the ordinance of this city, the officer finding the vehicle shall take its registration number and may take any other information displayed on the vehicle which may iden- tify its user, and shall conspicuously affix to the vehicle a notice of traffic infraction." 46 _ • . . . . . _ • . ____ ________ _ ___ ... _ _ . _ Section 4. Sections 9,60.010, 9.60,050 9.60.060, 9.6G,070 Ail lOr and 9.60.080 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code are hereby repealed. Section 5.
