HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-2395 AMENDING THE 1980 YAKIMA CITY BUDGET ft ORDINANCE NO. 23c15 AN ORDINANCE amending the 1980 Budget for the City of Yakima; and appropriating, transferring and reappropriating money for payment of Yakima Police Patrolman's Asso- ciation arbitration expenses, as an appropriation 111 for the 1980 City of Yakima Budget. WHEREAS, money is available for appropriation, transfer and reappropriation as provided by this ordinance, and WHEREAS, the appropriation, transfer and reppaopriation must be made as provided on the schedules attached hereto in order to pay Yakima Police Patrolman's Association arbitration expenses, and 41: WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1980 Budget it could not reasonably havebeen foreseen that such appropriations would be required; and the City Council finds that an emergency exists of the type contemplated by R.C.W. 35.33.091 and that it is in the best interests of the City to make the transfer and appro- priations herein provided, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. Money is hereby appropriated, for expenditure during 1980, within 195-Contingency Fund, as specified in Schedule 1 attached hereto. Section 2. As the appropriation provided by Section 1 hereof 4110 becomes effective, money is hereby transferred as provided by Schedule 2 attached hereto. Section 3. As the transfer provided by Section 2 hereof becomes effective, money is hereby appropriated as provided by Schedule 3 attached hereto for expenditure during 1980, as an appropriation for the 1980 City of Yakima Budget. Section 4. The Director of Finance and the City Treasurer 410 of the City of Yakima are hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers to carry out this ordinance. Section 5. This ordinance is one making appropriations and shall take effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publi- cation as provided by law and by the City Charter. mtk PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, signed and approved this day of °PA-Le.- , 1980.
