AN ORDINANCE relating to licenses and business regulations; requir-
ing a license to deliver aircraft petroleum products
to or near the Yakima Air Terminal; assessing a ren-
tal fee for such petroleum product deliveries; requir-
ing suppliers of such products to provide a monthly
statement and amending Sections 5.08.010, 5.08.020
and 5.08.030, all of the City of Yakima Municipal
Code.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. Section 5.08.010 of the City of Yakima Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"5.08.010 License required--Fee. It is unlawful
for any person, firm or corporation to deliver gasoline,
oil, any petroleum product or aviation fuel to the Yakima
Air Terminal or to any person, firm or corporation with
the knowledge that such gasoline, oil, petroleum product
or aviation fuel will be used in aircraft located on, or
being fueled to take off from, the Yakima Air Terminal
without first securing a license to do so hereby designated
as an airport petroleum license. Such license shall be
obtained from the City of Yakima and shall expire on the
1st day of July of each year. The annual fee for such
license is fixed in the sum of twenty-seven dollars and
fifty cents ($27.50)."
Section 2. Section 5.08.020 of the City of Yakima Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"5.08.020 Rental charge for gasoline. Any person,
firm or corporation who delivers aviation gasoline, jet
aircraft fuel or any other aircraft fuel to any aviator,
aviation company or commercial operator located on the
Yakima Air Terminal or to any aviator, aviation company
or commercial operator with the knowledge that such
gasoline or lubricating oil shall be used in aircraft
located on or being fueled to take off from the Yakima
Air Terminal shall pay a rental charge of three cents
for each gallon of aviation gasoline, jet aircraft fuel
or other aircraft fuel delivered."
Section 3. Section 5.08.030 of the City of Yakima Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"5.08.030 Monthly statement. Each person, firm or
corporation delivering aviation gasoline, jet aircraft
fuel or other aircraft fuel as designated in Section
5.08.020 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code shall, on
or before the 10th day of each month render to the City
Manager a statement showing the type of fuel and the
number of gallons delivered in the previous month, to
whom delivered, and the amount due the City pursuant to
Section 5.08.020 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code,
and accompany such statement with the remittance of the
amount due."
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
thirty days after its passage, approval and publication as provided
by law and by the City Charter.
