HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-2137 APPROPRIATING $25,000 FROM UNAPPROPRIATED MONEY IN 199-FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FUND, TRANSFERRING IT TO 362-TR ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE appropriating the amount of $25,000 from unappropriated money in 199-Federal Revenue Sharing Fund, transferring the amount of $25,000 from 199-Federal Revenue Sharing 411 Fund to 362-Trolley Capital Fund and appropriating that amount as a 1977 appropriation for 362-Trolley Capital Fund. WHEREAS, 199-Federal Revenue Sharing Fund contains unappropriated money available for appropriation and transfer as provided by this ordinance, and WHEREAS, the amount of $25,000 must be appropriated in 199- Federal Revenue Sharing Fund and transferred to 362-Trolley Capital Fund for appropriation therein as a 1977 appropriation for refurbishing trolleys, and WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1977 Budget it could not reasonably have been foreseen that such additional appropriation and transfer would be required; and the City Council finds that an emergency exists of the type contemplated by R.C.W. 35.33.091 and that it is in the best interests of the City to make the appropriation and transfer herein provided, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. The amount of $25,000 is hereby appropriated from unappropriated money in 199-Federal Revenue Sharing Fund to Account 199.519.80.53 for transfer from that fund to 362-Trolley Capital Fund, and for appropriation therein, as provided by this ordinance. Section 2. As the appropriation authorized by Section 1 above becomes effective, the amount of $25,000 is hereby transferred from 410 199-Federal Revenue Sharing Fund to 362-Trolley Capital Fund •for appropriation therein as provided by this ordinance. Section 3. As the transfer authorized by Section 2 above becomes effective, the amount of $25,000 is hereby appropriated from un- appropriated money in 362-Trolley Capital Fund to Account 362.546.23.63 as a 1977 appropriation for 362.-Trolley Capital Fund. Section 4. The Director of Finance and the City Treasurer of the City of Yakima are hereby authorized and directed to make the necessary transfer to carry out this ordinance. Section 5. This ordinance is one making an appropriation • and shall take effect immediately upon its passage, approval' and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
