AN ORDINANCE transferring the amount of $51,000 from 473 - Water
Fund to 477 - Domestic Water Improvement Fund, and
appropriating the amount of $51,000 from unappropriated
• . money in 477 - Domestic Water Improvement Fund to
Account 477.534.30.65 as a 1976 appropriation for
477 - Domestic Water Improvement Fund.
WHEREAS, 473 - Water-Sewer Fund of the City of Yakima contains
• money available for transfer and appropriation as provided by this
ordinance, and •
WHEREAS, the amount of $51,000 must be transferred from 473 - Water-
.
Sewer Fund to 477 - Domestic Water Improvement Fund and appropriated
therein to pay for the construction of water mains to serve a proposed
• freeway industrial park, and
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1976 Budget it could
not reasonably have been foreseen that the transfer and appropriation
provided by this ordinance would be required; and the City Council
finds that an emergency exists of the type contemplated by R.C.W.
35.33.091 and that it is in the best interests of the City to make
the transfer and appropriation herein provided, now, therefore,.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. The amount of $51,000 is hereby transferred from
473 - Water-Sewer Fund to 477 - Domestic Water Improvement Fund for
appropriation therein as provided by this ordinance.
Section 2. As the transfer provided by Section 1 hereby becomes
effective, the amount of $51,000 is hereby appropriated from unappropriat-
ed money in 477 - Domestic Water Improvement Fund to Account 477.534.30.65.
as a 1976 appropriation for 477 - Domestic Water Improvement Fund. •
Section 3. The Finance Officer and the City Treasurer of the
City of Yakima are hereby authorized to make the necessary transfer
to carry out this ordinance.
. Section 4. This ordinance is one making an appropriation and
shall take effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law and by the City Charter.
