AN ORDINANCE relating to city personnel; adopting a classi- fication plan and a compensation plan for city employees; amending Sections 2.20.100 dm. 'MP and 2.20.110 of the City of Yakima Municipal • Code; and declaring an emergency. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: ,• • Section 1. Section 2.20.100 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "2.20.100 Classification Plan. The following classification plan shall be in full force and effect as of November 1, 1976: (a) Classes Exempt From Civil. Section 2.20.110 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "2.20.110 Compensation Plan. The following pay ranges and pay steps for the classes allocated to these pay ranges shall be in full force and effect as of November 1, 1976. The following pay rates shall constitute full compensation for those employees 411 with a work week of forty hours as set out in other sections of this code. Employees whose work week is less than forty fours shall be paid at the rate which is in the same proportion to the rates set out herein that their work bears to forty hours.
