ORDINANCE NO. , 2C16,. _ AN ORDINANCE transferring the amount of $70,000 from 474 - Cumulative Reserve Fund for Domestic Water Supply Development to 477- Domestic Water Improvement Fund, and appropriating that amount as a 1977 appropriation for 477- Domestic Water Improvement Fund. • WHEREAS, 474 - Cumulative Reserve Fund for Domestic Water Supply Development contains money available for transfer and appropriation for expenditure as provided by this ordinance, and WHEREAS, the amount of $70,000 must be transferred from 474 - Cumulative Reserve Fund for Domestic Water Supply Development to 477- Domestic Water Improvement Fund and appropriated therein in order to pay for the contemplated construction of a 12 inch water main along J Street and along 20th Avenue, and WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1977 Budget it could not reasonably have been foreseen that such transfer and appropriation would be required; and the City Council finds that • an emergency exists of the type contemplated by R.C.W. 35.33.091 and that it is in the best interests of the City to make the trans- fer and appropriation herein provided, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. The amount of $70,000 is hereby transferred from 474- Cumulative Reserve Fund for Domestic Water Supply Development to 477 - Domestic Water Improvement Fund for appropriation therein as provided by this ordinance.. Section 2. As the transfer provided by Section 1 hereof becomes effective, the amount of $70,000 is hereby appropriated from unappropriated money in 477- Domestic Water Improvement Fund • to Account 477.534.30.65 as a 1977 appropriation for 477 - Domestic Water Improvement Fund. Section 3. The Finance Officer and City Treasurer of the City of Yakima are hereby authorized to make the necessary transfer to carry out this ordinance. Section 4. This ordinance is one making an appropriation and shall take effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
