AN ORDINANCE relating to City personnel; adopting a classification
and compensation plan for certain City employees;
amending Subsections 2.20.100 (a) and 2.20.100 (f),
and enacting Subsection 2.20.100 (h) as a new section,
410 all of the City of Yakima Municipal Code; and declaring
an emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. Subsection 2.20.100 (a) of the City of Yakima
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"2.20.100 Classification and Comeensation Plan. The
following classification and compensation plan shall be in
full force and effect as of July 1, 1975:

Section 4. Subsection 2.20.100 (f) of the City of Yakima
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"2.20.100 Classification and Compensation Plan.
The following classification and compensation plan shall
be in full force and effect as of January 1, 1975:

III Section 5, Subsection 2.20.100 (h) of the City of Yakima
Municipal Code is hereby enacted as a new subsection to read as
follows:
"(h) Mana:ement Group Tax Deferred Compensation Plan Benefit.
Each member of the Management Group, as defined by Section 1.18.020
of the City of Yakima Municipal Code, who participates in any tax
deferred compensation plan adopted or approved by the City shall
be paid, in addition to the amount established by the foregoing
schedules, as part of that member's, regular salary, an amount each
month equal to the extent of such member's participation in any
such plan; provided, such additional amount to be so paid shall
not exceed 2% of the monthly salary of any such participating
employee."
Section 6. This ordinance is one to provide for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety and
III welfare of the people of the City of Yakima and an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law and by the City Charter.
