ORDINANCE NO. a • AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of portions of public streets and alleys in the City of Yakima, Washington. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Yakima has declared 41) its intention to vacate portions of streets and alleys more fully described below, and WHEREAS, a hearing by the City Council was duly held on said vacation, and as a result of such hearing the City Council finds it to be in the best interests of the City of Yakima that said portions of streets and alleys be vacated, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. The following described portions of streets and alleys in the City of Yakima, Washington, to wit: The Alley in Block 150, Huson's Addition to North Yakima, now Yakima, Washington, according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume "A" of Plats, page 11, records of 111 Yakima County, Washington (The north-south alley between Yakima Avenue and "A" Street in the block between 7th Street and 8th Street); and That portion of East "A" Street between the easterly - right-of-way line of the alley between 6th and 7th • Streets and the westerly right-of-way line of 8th Street; and That portion of 7th Street from the north right-of-way line of Yakima Avenue to a point 100 feet north of the northerly right-of-way line of "A" Street; and That portion of the alley in Block 149, Huson's Addition to North Yakima, now Yakima, Washington, from the North right- of-way line of "A" Street to a point 50 feet northerly thereof, according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume "A" of Plats, page 11, records of Yakima County, Washington; be, and the same is hereby, vacated. Section 2. The City of Yakima hereby reserves all necessary easements and rights-of-way for the installation and maintenance of 41 any and all water mains, sewers or utilities of any and all kinds which may now exist in said alleys and streets or •which it may here- after desire to constructtherein, and no building shall be constructed on any portion of said vacated alleys and streets without the prior approval of the City. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
