AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of a portion of public
street right-of-way in the City of Yakima, Washington.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Council of
the City of Yakima requesting the vacation of the hereinafter des-
cribed portion of public street, and
WHEREAS, a hearing by the City Council was duly held on said
petition, and as a result of such hearing the City Council finds
it to be in the best interests of the City of Yakima that said peti-
tion be granted and that said portion of street be vacated, now,
therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. The following described portion of street in the
City of Yakima, Washington, to wit:
That portion of public right-of-way including cul-de-sac
lying northeasterly of the following described line:
Beginning at a point on the west line of Lot 8 of Edge-
cliff Manor, recorded in Volume "T" of Plats, page 20,
records of Yakima County, Washington, 91.25 feet southerly
of the center of the cul-de-sac as shown on said plat,
thence northwesterly along the arc of a curve having a
radius of 120 feet, a delta angle of 74 and a tangent
of 91.25 feet, to a point on the southerly line of Lot
5 of said plat 91.25 feet northwesterly of the center
of the cul-de-sac as shown on said plat,
be, and the same is hereby, vacated.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
thirty days after its passage, approval and publication as provided
by law and by the City Charter.
