AN ORDINANCE accepting the recommendation of the Planning Commission
and rezoning property at 421 South 16th Avenue from R-2,
Two-Family Zone, to B-2, Local Business Zone.
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, the City Council of
410 the City of Yakima held a hearing on the 29th day of September, 1975,
upon the recommendation of the Planning Commission that real property
situated at 421 South 16th Avenue in the City of Yakima, Washington,
the legal description of which is set out hereinbelow, be rezoned from
R-2, Two-Family Zone, to B-2, Local Business Zone, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that such recommendation of the
Planning Commission for such rezoning should be approved for the reasons
that such rezoning is in accord with good' planning and with the General
Plan of the City of. Yakima; that the majority of property owners in
the vicinity do not oppose the change in classification; that the needs
of the City and community do require such change-and that the highest
410 and best use of said property is for Local Business Zone, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. The recommendation of the Planning Commission of the
City of Yakima that the following described real property situated at
421 South 16th Avenue in the City of Yakima, Washington, and more par-
ticularly described as follows, to wit:
Lot 11, Block 3, Loma Vista Addition, according to the plat
thereof recorded in Volume E of Plats, page 40, records of Yakima
County, Washington,
be rezoned from R-2, Two-Family Zone, to B-2, Local Business Zone, be,
and the same is hereby, approved and said real property is hereby re-
zoned to a Local Business Zone.
Section 2. The above change in zoning shall be included and
depicted on the next regularly amended Use District Map prepared by
and for the City.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
file with the Yakima County Auditor a certified copy of this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
thirty days after its passage, approval and publication- provided

by law and by the City Charter.
