AN ORDINANCE relating to city funds and accounts; establishing rates for the rental of equipment owned by the Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund; amending Section 3.15.030 Aft of the City of Yakima Municipal Code; and declaring an emergency. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. Section 3.15.030 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "3.15.030 Rental of equipment-Rates established. The rental rate per hour or per mile, whichever is greater, specified in this section shall be applicable to equipment, materials and supplies rented for a period of time less than one week. Proceeds received from the rental of such equipment, materials and supplies shall be placed in the Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund." Section 2. This ordinance is one to provide for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety and welfare of the people of the City of Yakima and an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
