AN ORDINANCE rezoning property at 3003 Tieton Drive in the City of
Yakima, from R-1, Single Family Zone, to Planned Develop-
ment Zone.
WHEREAS, after proper petition and due notice, hearings
410 have been held by the City Council of the City of Yakima and by the
City Planning Commission on the petition of .New Valley Osteopathic
Hospital to rezone property situated at 3003 Tieton Drive in the
City of Yakima, Washington, the legal description of which property
is set out hereinbelow, from R-1, Single Family Zone, to Planned
Development Zone, and
WHEREAS, as a result of its most recent hearing on January
15, 1976, the City Council finds that to grant the rezone sought
would be in accord with good planning and with the General Plan of
the City of Yakima, and that the highest and best use for said
property is for Planned Development Zone, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. The application of New Valley Osteopathic Hospital
to rezone property at 3003 Tieton Drive in the City of Yakima,
Washington, legally described as follows:
Parcel 1: The North 63 feet of the South 93 feet of the
East 143.4 feet of the West half of the South-
west quarter of the Southwest quarter of the
Southwest quarter of Section 23, Township 13
North, Range 18, E.W.M.,
EXCEPT the East 25 feet thereof for street;
Parcel 2: The East 143.4 feet of the North 63 feet of
the South 156 feet of the West half of the
Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter
of the Southwest quarter of Section 23,
Township 13 North. Range 18, E.W.M.,
EXCEPT the East 25 feet thereof;
Parcel 3: The North 124 feet of the South 280 feet of
the West half of the Southwest quarter of the
Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 23, Township 13 North. Range 18, E.W.M.,
EXCEPT the West 186.44 feet and EXCEPT the
East 25 feet;
be rezoned from R'-1, Single Family Zone, to Planned Development Zone
be, and the same is hereby, approved and said real property is hereby

rezoned to a Planned Development Zone, all in accordance with, and
to conform to, the final development plan and program therefor, a
copy of which is attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof.
410 Section 2. The above change in zoning shall be included and
depicted on the next regularly amended Use District Map prepared
by and for the City.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to file with the Yakima County Auditor a certified copy of this
ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
thirty days after its passage, approval and publication as provided
by law and by the City Charter.
