AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of a portion of public
street in the City of Yakima, Washington.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Council of
the City of Yakima requesting the vacation of the hereinafter des-
cribed portion of public street, and
WHEREAS, a hearing by the City Council was duly held on said
petition, and as a result of such hearing the City Council finds it
to be in the best interests of the City of Yakima that said petition
be granted and that said portion of street be vacated,, npw,"i there-

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. The following described portion of street in the
City of Yakima, Washington, to wit:
Beginning at a point on the north right-of-way line of
East Yakima Avenue 194 feet easterly of the southeast
corner of Lot 1, Larrison's Addition to North Yakima, now
Yakima, according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume
"A" of Plats, page 79, records of Yakima County, Washington;
thence southeasterly at a right angle to said north right-
- of-way line to the north right-of-way line of S.R. 82 as
shown on Sheet 2 of the right-of-way plans titled East Yakima
Avenue to Union Gap, and approved May 5, 1959; thence westerly
along said north right-of-way line of S.R. 82 to its inter-
section with the north right-of-way line of East Yakima
A venue; thence northeasterly along the north right-of-way
line of East Yakima Avenue to the point of beginning,
be, and the same is hereby, vacated.
Section 2. The City of Yakima hereby reserves all necessary
easements and rights of way for the installation and maintenance of
any and all water mains, sewers or utilities of any and all kinds
which may now exist in said portion of street or which it may here-
", after desire to construct therein, and no building or other structure
shall be constructed on any portion of said vacated street without
the prior approval of the City.

Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
thirty days after its passage, approval and publication as provided
by law and by the City Charter.
