ORDINANCE NO. / AN ORDINANCE transferring the amount of $20,000 from 199-Federal Shared Revenue Fund to 000-General Fund and appropriating that amount to Account 011.512.00.51 as a 1976 appro- priation for 000-General Fund III WHEREAS, 199-Federal Shared Revenue Fund contains money appro- priated and available for transfer as provided by this ordinance, and WHEREAS, the amount of $20,000 must be transferred from 199- Federal Shared Revenue Fund to 000-General Fund and appropriated therein, as provided by this ordinance, in order to finance a grant to Yakima County for Yakima County District Court probation services, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the purposes for which the transfer and appropriation are made by this ordinance are appropriate purposes for expenditure of money in 199-Federal Shared Revenue Fund, and WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1976 Budget it could not reasonably have been foreseen that the transfer and appropriation provided by this ordinance would be required; and the City Council finds that an emergency exists of the type contemplated by R.C.W. 35.33.091 and that it is in the best interests of the City to make the transfer and appropriation herein provided, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. The amount of $20,000 is hereby transferred from 199-Federal Shared Revenue Fund to 000-General Fund for appropriation therein as provided by this ordinance. Section 2. As the transfer provided by Section 1 of this ordinance 111 becomes effective, the amount of $20,000 is hereby appropriated from un- appropriated money in 000-General Fund to Account 011.512.00.51 as a 1976 appropriation for 000-General Fund. Section 3. The Finance Officer and City Treasurer of the City of Yakima are hereby authorized to make the necessary transfer to carry out this ordinance. Section 4. This ordinance is one making an appropriation and 0 shall take effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publica- tion as provided by law and by the City Charter.
