AN ORDINANCE transferring the amount of $10,025 from 195-Contingency
Fund to 000-General Fund and appropriating that amount
to various accounts as 1974 appropriations for 000-
E10 General Fund.
WHEREAS, 195-Contingency Find contains money available for
transfer and appropriation as provided by this ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the amount of $10,025 must be transferred to 000-
General Fund and appropriated therein to provide funds to pay
for a state audit and to pay unbudgeted miscellaneous payments
to the Yakima Visitors & Convention Bureau, and
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1974 Budget it
could not reasonably have been foreseen that such transfer and
appropriations would be required; and the City Council finds that
an emergency exists of the type contemplated by R.C.W. 35.33.091
and that it is in the best interests of the City to make the trans-
fer and appropriations herein provided, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. The amount of $10,025 is hereby transferred from
195-Contingency Fund to 000-General Fund for appropriation therein
as provided by this ordinance.
Section 2. As the transfer authorized by Section 1 hereof
becomes effective, the amount of $4,000 is hereby appropriated from
unappropriated money in 000-General Fund to Account 015.514.23.31,
and the amount of $6,025 is hereby appropriated from unappropriated
money in 000-General Fund to Account 011.519.90.42, both as 1974
appropriations for 000-General Fund.
Section 3. The Director of Finance and City Treasurer of the
City of Yakima are hereby authorized to make the necessary transfer
to carry out this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance is one making appropriations and
shall take effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publi-
cation as provided by law and by the City Charter.
