AN ORDINANCE transferring the amount of $11,776 from 195 - Contingency
Fund to 000 - General Fund and appropriating the amount
of $76,000 from available and anticipated unappropriated
money in 000 - General Fund to Account 031.521.20.64
® as a 1974 appropriation for 000 - General Fund. •
WHEREAS, revenue is anticipated to be received in 000 - General
Fund by virtue of the transfer authorized by this ordinance and
from other sources so as to provide money available for appropri-
ation as provided by this ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the amount of $11,776 is required to be transferred
from 195- Contingency Fund to 000 - General Fund for appropriation
therein as provided by this ordinance; and the total amount of
$76;000 must be appropriated from unappropriated revenue in 000 -
General Fund to Account 031.521.20.64, Police Operations, Machinery
and Equipment, to pay for a computerized microfilm system_ for the
• Yakima Police Department, and
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1974 Budget it
could not reasonably have been foreseen that such transfer and
appropriation would be required; and the City Council finds that
an emergency exists of the type contemplated by R.C.W. 35.33.091
and that it is in the best interests of the City to make the
appropriation herein provided, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY. THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. The amount of $11,776 is hereby transferred from
195- Contingency Fund to 000 - General. Fund for appropriation therein
as provided by this ordinance.
Section 2. As the transfer authorized by Section 1 of this
ordinance becomes effective, the amount of $76,000 is hereby
appropriated from available and anticipated unappropriated money
in 000 - General Fund to Account 031.521.20.64, Police Operations,
Machinery and Equipment, as a 1974 appropriation for 000 - General
Fund.
Section 3. The Director of Finance and City Treasurer of the
City of Yakima are hereby authorized to make the necessary trans-
fer to carry out this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance is one making an appropriation
and shall take effect immediately upon its passage, approval
and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
