HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-1708 MODIFICATIONS TO PROPERTY BETWEEN NORTH 40TH AVENUE & EXISTING YAKIMA TENNIS CLUB FACILITIES. ORDINANCE NO. /761 AN ORDINANCE granting modifications to a Planned Development Zone for certain property situated between North 40th Avenue and existing Yakima Tennis Club facilities. WHEREAS, by City of Yakima Ordinance No. 1514, enacted April 23, 1973, real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto was zoned Planned Development Zone, and modifications to the develop- ment of that property were authorized by City of Yakima Ordinance No. 1667, enacted June 3, 1974, and WHEREAS, Yakima Tennis Club, owners of such property, has requested further modifications to the plan and program for the • development of such property; and the Planning Commission recom- mended granting such modifications pursuant to its hearing con- ducted on September 3, 1974, and WHEREAS, on September 30, 1974, the Yakima City Council held a public hearing on the request for such modifications, as a result of which hearing the City Council finds that the recommendation of the Planning Commission should be accepted and that such modi- fications should be granted so that the development of such property shall conform to the modified final development plan and program attached hereto, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. Modifications to the Planned Development Zone of property owned by Yakima Tennis Club, situated in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, and legally described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof are hereby granted so that the development of said property shall conform to the final development plan and program, as modified, attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof. Section 2.. The above change in zoning shall be included and depicted on the next regularly amended Use District Map pre- pared by and for the City. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file with the Yakima County Auditor a certified copy of this ordinance. Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
