' (8. The land is essentially flat with a slight slope to the west)
b. 1. From our knowledge of present senior citizen projects in Yakima
we recognize that the is a continuing need for high quality and
moderate cost housing especially suited for this age group. The
market survey recently done by the Yakima Planning Department under-
scores our belief that a project such as we are planning would meet
• with rapid acceptance from those people who stand to benefit from
its availability.
We feel that the concept of planned retirement in a project
such as this with its location so near to 24 hour health care, -
shopping center, drug stores, food market, bus, etc would be an
exciting addition to Yakima,
2. Proposed ownership will either be a partnership of Gary Fresk
and Virgil Cumbo or a sole ownership by the Living Care Centers-
Summitview Manor. They have expressed an interest in buying the
building after it is constructed,
3. Operation of the building will either be done by a manager/
maintenance person hired by the owners or in the case of a lease/sale
to Living Care Centers, they will include the building in their
present operation. In any event, the building will be provided with
a full time system of maintenance so as to give the tenants the
most in a trouble-free environment.
