AN ORDINANCE transferring the amount of $1,172.35 from 195-
Contingency Fund to 000 - General Fund and
appropriating that amount to Account 016.516.10.31
as a 1975 appropriation for 000 - General Fund.
WHEREAS, 195 - Contingency Fund contains money available for
transfer and appropriation as provided by this ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the amount of $1,172.35 must be transferred to
and appropriated within 000 - General Fund in order to pay arbitra-
tors' fees for the arbitration of 1975 salaries and fringe bene-
fits for IAFF Local 469, AFL -CIO, and
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1975 Budget it
could not reasonably have been foreseen that such transfer and
appropriation would be required; and the City Council finds that
an emergency exists of the type contemplated by RCW 35.33.091
and that it is in the best interests of the City to make the
• appropriation herein provided, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. The amount of $1,172.35 is hereby transferred
from 195 - Contingency Fund to 000 - General Fund for appropriation
therein as provided by this ordinance.
Section 2. As the transfer provided by Section 1 hereof
becomes effective, the amount of $1,172.35 is hereby appropriated
from unappropriated money in 000 - General Fund to Account
016.5 as a 1975 appropriation for 000- General Fund.
Section 3. The Director of Finance and City Treasurer of the
City of Yakima are hereby authorized to make the necessary transfer
to carry out this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance is one making an appropriation
and shall take effect immediately upon its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
