AN ORDINANCE providing for the' vacation of a public alley in the
City of Yakima, Washington.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Council of
410 the City of Yakima requesting the vacation of the hereinafter
described alley, and
WHEREAS, a hearing by the City Council was duly held on said
petition, and as a result of such hearing the City Council finds
it to be in the best interests of the City of Yakima that said
petition be granted and that said alley be vacated, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. The following described alley in the City of Yakima,
Washington, to wit:
The alley in Blocks 276 and 277 of Lund's Addition to North
Yakima (now Yakima) recorded in Volume "A" of plats, page
103, records of Yakima County, Washington, from the northerly
right-of-way line of Division Street to the southerly right-
., of-way line of Tieton Drive;
be, and the same is hereby, vacated.
Section 2. The City of Yakima hereby reserves all necessary
easements and rights-of-way for the installation of any and all
water mains, sewers or utilities of any and all kinds which may
now exist in said alley or which it may hereafter desire to con-
struct therein, and no building or other structure shall be con-
structed on any portion of said vacated alley without the prior
approval of the City.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
thirty days after its passage, approval and publication as pro-
", vided by law and by the City Charter.
