HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-1762 CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. / AN ORDINANCE transferring the amount of $50,000 from 392-Cumulative Reserve For Capital Improvement Fund to 321-Central Business District Capital Improvement Fund, and appropriating that amount to Account 321.538.30.31 as a 1975 appropriation for 321-Central Business • District Capital Improvement Fund. WHEREAS, 392-Cumulative Reserve For Capital Improvement Fund of the City of Yakima contains money available for transfer and appropriation as provided by this ordinance, and WHEREAS, the amount of $50,000 must be transferred to and appropriated in 321-Central Business District Capital Improvement Fund to pay current and anticipated expenses in connection with the Central Business District improvement project, and WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1975 Budget it could not reasonably have been foreseen that such transfer and appropriation would be required; and the City Council finds that an emergency exists of the type contemplated by R.C.W. 35.33.091 and that it is in the best interests of the City to make the trans- fer and appropriation herein provided, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. The amount of $50,000 is hereby transferred from 392-Cumulative Reserve For Capital Improvement Fund to 321-Central Business District Capital Improvement Fund for appropriation therein as provided by this ordinance. Section 2. As the transfer provided by Section 1 hereof becomes effective, the amount of $50,000 is hereby appropriated from unappropriated money in 321-Central Business District Capital Improvement Fund to Account 321.538.30.31, Professional Services, within the 1975 appropriation for 321-Central Business District Capital Improvement Fund. • Section 3. The Director of Finance and the City Treasurer of the City of Yakima are hereby authorized to make the neces- sary transfer to carry out this ordinance. 411 Section 4. This ordinance is one making an appropriation and shall take effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
