AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of a public alley in the
City of Yakima, Washington.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Council of
110 the City of Yakima requesting the vacation of the hereinafter des-
cribed public alley, and
WHEREAS, a hearing by the City Council was duly held on said
petition, and as a result of such hearing the City Council finds it
to be in the best interests of the City of Yakima that said petition
be granted and that said public alley be vacated, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. The following described alley in the City of Yakima,
Washington, to wit.
Alley between "A" Street and the East-West alley of Block
270, according to the plat of Ker's Addition to North Yakima
(now Yakima) recorded in Volume "A" of Plats, page 17, records
of Yakima County, Washington,
be, and the same is hereby, vacated.
Section 2. The City of Yakima hereby reserves all necessary
easements and rights-of-way for the installation and maintenance of
any and all water mains, sewers or utilities of any and all kinds
which may now exist in said alley or which it may hereafter desire
to construct therein, and no building or other structure shall be
constructed on any portion of said vacated alley without the prior
approval of the City.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
thirty days after its passage, approval and publication as provided
by law and by the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, signed and approved this
