ORDINANCE NO. 1 AN ORDINANCE accepting the recommendation of the Planning Commis- sion and rezoning property at 902 and 906 West Logan Avenue from Planned Development Zone to R-2, Two- Family Zone. WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, the City Council of the City of Yakima held a hearing on the 26th day of May, 1975, upon the recommendation of the Planning Commission that real property situated at 902 and 906 West Logan Avenue in the City of Yakima, Washington, the legal description of which is set out here- inbelow, be rezoned from Planned Development Zone to R-2, Two-Family Zone, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that such recommendation of the Planning Commission for such rezoning should be approved for the reasons that such rezoning is in accord with good planning and with the General Plan of the City of Yakima; that the majority of property owners in the vicinity do not oppose the change in classification; that the needs of the City and community do require such change and that the highest and best use of said property is for Two-Family Zone, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. The recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Yakima that the following described real property situated at 902 and 906 West Logan Avenue in the City of Yakima, Washington, and more particularly described as follows, to wit: Lot 13, south half of Lot 14, and Lot 15, Valley Addition No. 1 recorded in Volume "H" of Plats, page 36, records of Yakima County, Wadaington; be rezoned from Planned Development Zone to R-2, Two-Family Zone, be, and the same is hereby, approved and said real property is hereby rezoned to Two-Family Zone. Section 2. The above change in zoning shall be included and depicted on the next regularly amended Use District Map prepared by and for the City. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file with the Yakima County Auditor a certified copy of this ordinance. Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
