ORDINANCE NO. 45 AN ORDINANCE relating to the City Garage Fund; establishing rates for the rental of equipment through such fund; and amending Section 3.15.030 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code; and declaring an emergency. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. Section 3.15.030 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "3.15.030 Rental of Equipment--Rates Established. Effective January 1, 1974, equipment, materials and supplies owned by the City Garage Fund may be rented for the use of various offices and departments of the City of Yakima on the terms and at the rates specified in the following Schedule: Rental. The rental rate per hour specified in this section shall be applicable to equipment, materials and supplies rented for a period of time less than one week. Proceeds received from the rental of such equipment, materials and supplies shall be placed in the City Garage Fund." Section 2. The terms and rates for rental of equipment through the City Garage Fund, as specified by Section 3.15.030 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code prior to its amendment by this ordinance, shall remain in full force and effect through December 31, 1973. 111 Section 3. This ordinance is one to provide for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety and welfare of the people of the City of Yakima and an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
