HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-1648 TRANSFERRING $16,683.64 FROM 195-CONTINGENCY FUND TO 391-SOUTHEAST COMMUNITY CENTER FUND FOR 1974. 0 ORDINANCE NO, / & '/f AN ORDINANCE transferring the amount of $16,683.64 from 195 - Contingency Fund to 391- Southeast Yakima Community Center Fund and appropriating that amount to various 411 accounts as 1974 appropriations for 391 - Southeast Yakima Community Center Fund, WHEREAS, 195- Contingency Fund contains money available for appropriation as provided by this ordinance, and WHEREAS, the amount of $16,683.64 must be transferred to 391 - Southeast Yakima Community Center Fund and appropriated to various accounts therein in order to pay the balance of loans and interest due to the Water -Sewer Fund, and WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1974 Budget, it could not reasonably have been foreseen that such additional appropriation would be required; and the City Council finds that an emergency exists of the type contemplated by R.C.W. 35.33,091 • and that it is in the best interests of the City to make the appropriation herein provided, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. The amount of $16,683.64 is hereby transferred from 195- Contingency Fund to 391- Southeast Yakima Community Center Fundy Section 2. As the transfer provided by Section 1 hereof becomes effective, the amount of $27.76 is hereby appropriated from unappropriated money in 391- Southeast Yakima Community Center Fund to Account 519.33.72, and the amount of $16,655.88 is hereby appropriated from unappropriated money in 391- Southeast Yakima 41110 Community Center Fund to Account 581.20.71, both as 1974 appropri- ations for 391- Southeast Yakima Community Center Fund. Section 3. The Director of Finance and City Treasurer of the City of Yakima are hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers to carry out this ordinance. Section 4. This ordinance is one making appropriations and shall take effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
