ORDINANCE NO. /5
AN ORDINANCE transferring the amount of $17,265 from 392-Cumulative
Reserve for Capital Improvement Fund to 321-Central
Business District Capital Improvement Fund and appro-
priating that amount to Account 321.538.30.65 as a
410 1974 appropriation for 321-Central Business District
Capital Improvement Fund.
WHEREAS, Account 392.519.80.42 of 392-Cumulative Reserve for
Capital Improvement Fund contains money available for transfer and
appropriation as provided by this ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the amount of $17,265 must be transferred to and
appropriated within 321-Central Business District Capital Improvement
Fund in order to pay for professional consulting engineering ser-
vices in connection with contemplated Central Business District
improvements, and
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1974 Budget it
could not reasonably have been foreseen that such additional appro-
. priation would be required; and the City Council finds that an
emergency exists of the type contamplated by R.C.W. 35.33.091 and
that it is in the best interests of the City to make the appropriation
herein provided, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. The amount of $17,265 is hereby transferred from
Account 392.519.80.42 of 392-Cumulative Reserve for Capital Improve-
ment Fund to 321-Central Business District Capital Improvement Fund.
Section 2. As the transfer authorized by Section 1 above becomes
effective, the amount of $17,265 is hereby appropriated from un-
appropriated money in 321-Central Business District Capital Improve-
. ment Fund to Account 321.538.30.65 as a 1974 appropriation for 321-
Central Business District Capital Improvement Fund.

Section 3. The Director of Finance and City Treasurer of the
City of Yakima are hereby authorized to make the necessary transfer
to carry out this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance is one making an appropriation and
take effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law and by the City Charter.
