AN ORDINANCE appropriating the amount of $5,000 to various accounts
in the 1970 Budget for 390-Airport.
WHEREAS, there is unappropriated money in the amount of $5,000
within 390-Airport Fund, and
WHEREAS, the amount of $5,000 must be appropriated to various
accounts in the 1970 Budget for 390-Airport Fund as provided herein-
./ below, to pay operation expenses which could not reasonably have been
foreseen at the time of the adoption of the 1970 Budget; and the City
Council finds and declares an emergency to exist as contemplated by
R.C.W. 35.33.091 so as to authorize the appropriations provided by
this ordinance, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. The amount of $4,000 is hereby appropriated from un-
appropriated money in 390-Airport Fund, to Account 280, Light and
Power, of the Contractual Services category, and the amount of $1,000
is hereby appropriated from unappropriated money in 390-Airport Fund
to Account 550, Auto Fuels, Lubricants, Parts of the Materials and
411 Supplies category, both within the Maintenance and Operation classi-
fication of the 1970 Budget for 390-Airport Fund.
Section 2. The Director of Finance and the City Treasurer of the
City of Yakima are hereby authorized and directed to make the neces-
sary transfers to carry out this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance is one making an appropriation and
shall take effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publica-
tion as provided by law and by the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, signed and approved this 9th day of
November, 1970.
