AN ORDINANCE relating to a classification plan and salary ranges for
city employees; amending Subsections (e) and (f) of
Section 2.20.100 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code;

and declaring an emergency.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. Subsections 2.20.100 (e) and (f) of the City of
Yakima Municipal Code are hereby amended to read as follows:
"2.20.100 Classification Plan and Salar Ran:es. The
following classification plan and salary ranges shall be in
full force and effect as of January 1, 1971:
(e) Custodial and Related Services.

Custodian III 32
Building Superintendent 41
(f) Crafts, Operators and Maintenance.

Section 2. This ordinance is one to provide for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety and welfare
of the .people of the City of Yakima and an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
411 immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as nrovided by
law and by the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, signed and approved this 28th day of
December, 1970.
