• Recommendation to address issues raised by citizens during Audience
Participation through standard City procedures instead of giving
precedence because they were presented during a business meeting,
recommendation that response to issues that cannot be addressed through
standard procedures be extended to four weeks rather than the currently
established two -week time period

listed on the regular business meeting agenda A guideline of three (3) minutes per
speaker is in place in order to allow as much opportunity as possible for audience
participation A speaker's time may be extended at the discretion of the Mayor and /or

7 Consideration of a Resolution authorizing execution of an agreement with Conley
Engineering for fixture upgrades
8 Consideration of a Resolution authorizing execution of an agreement with Akel
Engineering Group, Inc to provide wastewater /stormwater engineering services for the
Wastewater Division
*9 Consideration of a Resolution authorizing execution of a mutual aid agreement between
Joint Base Lewis- McChord/Yakima Training Center Police Department and the City of
Yakima Police Department
*10 Consideration of Resolutions authorizing execution of 2010 agreements with
A. Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce
B Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Yakima County
C Yakima Sunfair Festival Association for tourist promotion services
*11 Consideration of a Resolution setting the date of a public hearing before the City of
Yakima Hearing Examiner for October 28, 2010 to consider two right -of -way vacation
petitions and Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital's associated Master Development Plan
*12 Set date of Closed Record public hearing for October 5, 2010 to consider the
preliminary plat of Mountain View Estates
ORDINANCES
*13 First reading of an Ordinance amending the 2010 budget and making an appropriation in
the Economic Development budget and authorizing grant funding from SIED for North 1
Street corridor revitalization study services (no action required at this meeting; second reading
scheduled 10 -5-10)
*14 Second reading of an Ordinance amending the 2010 budget and making an appropriation in
the 462 — Transit Operating Fund for extended services
*15 Second reading of an Ordinance amending the 2010 Refuse budget for unanticipated
landfill and fuel expenditures services

County in the Council Chambers on the West Valley Neighborhood Plan
