BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1062, passed by the Yakima City Council on September 3, 1968, and entitled "AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of certain property by constructing the necessary mains, fire hydrants, valves and other appurtenances for the purpose of supplying water for domestic use and fire protec- tion; establishing a Local Improvement District, providing for the method of payment thereof, and creating a special fund," is hereby amended to read as follows: 4 "Section 1. The following property shall be improved by constructing the necessary mains, fire hydrants, valves and other appurtenances for the purpose of supplying water for domestic use and fire protection: Lots 4 through 19, Plat of Gordon Highway Tracts, also north 262.2 feet of south 1132.2 feet of west half of the southeast quarter of Section 12, Township 13 North, Range 18, E., W.M., except the west 15 feet for county road (North 1st Street); Lots 5 through 13, Plat of Forney Subdivision, except that part of Lot 8 lying west of the east line of Section 31, Township 13 North, Range 19 E., W.M.: also the north 123.6 feet of that part of the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 32, Township 13 North, Range 19 E., W.M., lying westerly of state highway; also that part of the southwest quarter of the northwest quar- ter of Section 32, Township 13 North, Range 19 E., W.M., lying west of State Highway No. 3 (South 1st Street)." Section 2. This ordinance is one relating to local improvements or assessments therefor, and shall become effective immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
