HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-1097 ORDINANCE NO. / C 1 AN ORDINANCE relating to the City Garage Fund; describing the pur- poses for which such fund is created; establishing rates for the rental of equipment from such fund; and amend- ing Sections 3.15.010 and 3.15.030 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. Section 3,15.010 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "3.15.010 Fund created -- Purposes. There is hereby created a special equipment rental fund known as the city garage fund. Such fund shall be used as a revolving fund to be expended for salaries, wages and operations required for the repair, replace- ment, purchase and operation of equipment for the street divi- sion, municipal garbage division, engineering division, traffic engineering division and cemetery division of the public works department, and for the planning division and inspection divi- sion of the department of planning and community development, and for the records department and City Hall department, and for the purchase of equipment, materials and supplies to be used in the administration and operation of such fund. The fund shall be used to purchase and to sell equipment, materials and supplies and to pay rental for equipment, materials and supplies, by the city from other public or private persons, firms or cor- porations, all as may be required by such divisions and depart- ments as mentioned above." Section 2. Section 3.15.030 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "3.15.030 Rental of Equipment - -Rates Established. Proceeds received from the rentals of such equipment, materials and supplies shall be placed in the city garage 411 fund." Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
